Asha Deep Trust was established by the sisters belonging to the Apostolic Carmel Congregation founded by Reverend Mother Veronica. The main objective of the Congregation is to educate young girls especially in the Indian subcontinent. Our education mission is directed to the total development and empowerment of persons, especially women; so that they may become leaders in society and agents of social change. In addition to the apostolate of education, we also cater to the needs of the poor and marginalized in society.
Asha Deep trust is a non profitable Trust and it caters to the needs of the poor and less privileged in society. Some of its ventures are helping to conduct classes in the evenings for the poor in its vicinity. It has also reached out to help various NGO's, orphanages, provided medical aid and grocery to the poor, helped to pay fees of students whose parents struggle to make ends meet and so forth.
In Covid times the Trust provided meals to the poor in the neighbourhood, distributed grocery, blankets and quilts to struggling families.
It has also undertaken a project of building a school for the children in a village at Dharuhera , Haryana which is in progress. The main objective of this venture is to give quality education and to a brighter future to the children of the place.
Walking in the footsteps of Reverend Mother Veronica, the foundress of the Apostolic Carmel congregation to which Asha Deep Trust is part of, it gives us immense joy to carry on the legacy of our foundress in reaching out to humanity specially those in need.
